Stop the car!
Stop the car! This House Crush just oozes charm. My heart skipped a beat when I drove up the drive.
Cedar shakes, dark siding, white trim and a gravel drive—what more does a girl need? The dormers are a lovely detail to the shake roof, and the brackets add extra depth and dimension to the windows. Stone steps lead to the iron and glass entry door flanked by large shutters with a nail head detail—perfect.
I love the small side porch rail detail to the right of the house—just that little extra something to finish it off. Oh, and don’t forget one of my all-time favorites…window boxes.

Love all of the stone paths and steps.
Cedar shakes always get my attention.
